从事有机/聚合物光电功能材料(发光材料和光伏材料)及其分子器件的研究。先后主持国家、省部级科研项目10余项,包括国家自然科学基金重大研究计划培育项目和面上项目6常笔路孙阿参项。主持省级教学改革项目2项。在有机/聚合物发光材料、光伏材料及其分子器件来自等国际前沿科学领域中已取得一些有国际影响的研究成代百马画果。以署名第一或通讯联系人在Advanced Energ360百科y Materials, J亮少均ournal of Materials Chemistry, Chemical Communication, Macromolecules等国内外重要学术刊物上发表SCI学术论文98篇。
2009年获广东省自然科学奖一等奖(排名第9),2010年获湖南省自然科学奖二等奖(排名第1),2013年获湖南省教学成果二等奖(排名第1)。获中国授权发明专利9项(排名第1)她。
