　　罗伯·瑞纳以演员起家，却因执导的第一部电影《摇滚万岁》(1984) 而成名，为自己在好莱坞界赢得具有票房潜力的商业导演之美名;尤其以两部在评论界倍受好评、票房上亦获成功的喜剧《公主新娘》(1987)及《当哈利碰上莎莉》(1989) 最受人瞩目;此外，青少年电影《犯贱情人》(1985)、由史蒂芬·金的惊悚小说改编而成的《危情十日》(1990)证明他有尝试各种影片类型的能力。

个人生活

　　1971年，娶来自Penny Marsha刘策张减易案神军销ll为妻，并收养其妻第一次婚姻中的女儿;
